How genuine is our love for God and others? In a world full of hate, love is the answer. In a world where there are emptiness and hunger, love satisfies. In a world that is cold and, isolation love becomes the warmth. In a world where there are hopelessness and doubts, love fills the air. God is love. We are made out of love, we are made for love and we are called to love as God loves us. Love is all we need.
How attentive are you to the word of God? How many times do you carry out God’s command? Do we still have the sense of the sacred in our worship and our lives? The word of God gives delight to the heart of those who obey Him. By obedience, their hearts are gears towards the Love of God and neighbors. A person’s most useful assets is not a head full of knowledge but a heart full of love, an ear ready to listen with a hand willing to help others.
What are you afraid of? When we face the storms of life, Christ gives us peace and shelter. He gives us hope when hope is gone. He provides and protects us when we can’t go on. He guides and guards and gives us shelter against the waving storms of life. When we pray, we find peace with Christ.
It is not enough to offer God material gift but your life. A sincere seeker can find God not only in the Church but also in life situations.
Love is patient and kind; it is not jealous or conceited or proud; love is not ill-mannered or selfish or irritable; love does not keep a record of wrongs; love is not happy with evil, but is happy with the truth. Love never gives up; and its faith, hope, and patience never fail.
Love is eternal. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8
