It’s always very difficult to be apart from your family when you are ill especially when you are old.
It’s the 12th day since the Duke of Edinburgh; Prince Philip, has been in the hospital and as it is, he has begun his second weekend in the hospital in what is now his longest ever stay.
The 99yrs old who was admitted to King Edward VII Hospital in London last Tuesday evening is being treated for an infection. He was meant to spend just a few days under medical care for ‘observation and rest’, but last Friday it emerged he was likely to remain in the hospital into this week.
As of last Tuesday, Buckingham Palace said that Philip was ‘comfortable’ and ‘responding’ to medical help.
Meanwhile, Queen Elizabeth remains at Windsor Castle, where she and Prince Philip have been social distancing during recent months, and where they both received their COVID-19 vaccinations earlier this year.
Angieisika’s blog hopes the Duke gets well soon and gets back to his loved ones.
