You just can’t hate Davido! The sensational Nigerian music icon has reacted to Wizkid and Burnaboy’s Grammy award wins.
Davido has congratulated his colleagues in the music industry – Wizkid and Burnaboy for winning Grammy Awards in their respective categories.
Burna Boy and Wizkid both won awards at the 63rd edition of Grammy Awards that took place in Los Angeles yesterday, March 14, 2021.
Shortly after Burnaboy and Wizkid’s win was announced, Davido took to his page to tweet and adaptation of his popular slang, e choke.

Later on in the day, Davido congratulated the duo on his Twitter page with a tweet saying that their wins were a big victory for Nigeria. He also made sure to congratulate them.

Burna Boy won the Best Global Music Album category for a second consecutive year, with his Twice As Tall album which was executively produced by P. Diddy.
Wizkid on the other hand won the Best Music Video for his song with Beyoncé; Brown Skin Girl, from Lion King: The Gift album.
Second time lucky
Burna Boy was nominated in the same category in 2019 – then known as Best World Music Album – but lost out to Angelique Kidjo at the awards ceremony in 2020.
Even with the club controversy that involved Davido and Burna Boy, he still had the large heart to congratulate him.
In life, there should be no reason to hate and envy anybody.
