Barely 24hrs after some student and teachers were set free from their captors in Kagara Niger state, a new report says there is a fresh attack in the community. At least four persons have reportedly been killed and 11 persons kidnapped.
Recall that in the early hours of today, February 27, 2021, three teachers and 27 students from Government Science College in Kagara who were kidnapped by suspected bandits last week regained their freedom.
According to DailyTrust, the bandits attacked Gidan Adamu, near Yakila, headquarters of Gunna district and Gidan Wamban Karaku community where 11 persons which include seven women were abducted.
This issue of kidnapping and banditry in the Nigeria should be looked into before it gets out off hand. The government needs to beef up it security and prioritize the safety if its citizen.
