Jack Dorsey, the Co-founder, and CEO of social media service, Twitter, has arrived in Nigeria on Thursday, October 7, 2019, as part of his listening and learning tour across Africa.
On Thursday evening, the tech entrepreneur announced his arrival in a tweet. He simply Tweeted ‘So grateful to finally be in Nigeria’.
Jack will be hosted by some entrepreneurs in Lagos. On his first night, he had dinner with media personality, Toolz and a few leaders in the technology industry.
In October, Jack said he will be in Ethiopia, Ghana, Nigeria, and South Africa. Nigeria is his first point of contact on the continent.
Nigerian hardworking tech guys in the private sector are really doing a lot to project the image of their country in good light, and the result is what you are now seeing in all these visits- Zuckerberg, Dorsey and the rest of them.
Kudos Jack! We hope you enjoy your stay.
